GYSO 2017-2018 AUDITIONS
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra (GYSO)!
GYSO's auditions for the 2017-2018 season will be held on May 22nd-26th at Kennesaw State University.
GYSO is open to all young musicians high-school age and younger who play an orchestral or jazz ensemble instrument:
Violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba, percussion, harp, jazz saxophone, jazz piano, jazz bass, jazz drums, jazz guitar, jazz vibraphone/percussion, jazz trumpet, jazz trombone, and choral.
Also, returning this year is the GSO Youth Chorus! Students from 6th-12th grade can audition for the chorus.
Auditions for the 2017-2018 season will be by instrument/ensemble. If you are unable to make the scheduled times/days for your instrument, please contact us to arrange another audition time.
Note: participation in a school music program is required, provided that one exists. This does not apply to students that are homeschooled.

Sign up for an audition time and fill out the application. There is a $25 application fee during the registration process. During registration you will provide an email contact. This email is where you will receive confirmation of your audition time and any further communications about GYSO.
Audition times are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please follow the link below to schedule an audition time.
