     Nancy DeLong has over thirty years of experience teaching all levels in Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, and Tuba, and her students have consistently achieved high scores at state music festivals. She has a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education from the Crane School of Music, and a Master of Music Degree in Music Education from Ithaca College in New York. Nancy has also performed in multiple professional orchestras, concert bands, jazz ensembles, brass ensembles, and pit orchestras for musicals. While in New York State, Nancy served as a New York State School Music Association All-State Adjudicator for Brass Solos and Ensembles. She also served as President of the Central Adirondack School Music Association (CASMA,) and as a member of CASMA hosted music festivals and chaired and directed several Concert Bands and Jazz Ensembles. She has studied Trombone and Euphonium pedagogy with Tyrone Breuninger, the Associate Principal Trombone with the Philadelphia Orchestra.

     Currently, Nancy teaches Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Clarinet, and Saxophone lessons at Draisen Edwards Music in Marietta, GA. As a woman who wears many hats, her Draisen Edwards duties also include Manager, Lesson Coordinator, and Brass and Woodwind Instrument Repair Technician. Recently several of Nancy’s private students have been accepted to the Cobb County Honor Bands, Georgia All-State Bands, as well as Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra Jazz Ensemble.
