You have two options of donating, either to the GYSO general fund, or to the Bryan Church GYSO Scholarship Memorial Fund.
GYSO General Fund
Donations to the GYSO General Fund help support the day-to-day operations of the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestras, their staff, and music needs of the students.
Bryan Church GYSO Scholarship Memorial Fund
This scholarship fund has been established in memory of long time friend, participant, and supporter of the GYSO program, Bryan Church.
All donations received will directly contribute to provide opportunities for students with financial need to participate in the GYSO programs.
Bryan Church was a great father, husband, brother, friend, professor, and scholar, and will be greatly missed. He earned his PhD in accounting at the University of Florida, and was thrilled to be a part of the talented and collegial faculty at Georgia Tech. Together with his wife Lucy Ackert, he spent countless hours supporting his children in their sports and musical accomplishments. His three children, Moira, William, and Rory all participated in the GYSO program, and Bryan loved the enrichment, education, and the joy of the music found in the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra.
